第7回1920年代：戦後の日系社会の再興：「終戦後、顕著な動きを見せた2世デモクラシー委員会・日系人のための協力委員会。政府による日系人の日本への「送還」反対運動。トロント日系市民協会「一世部」の誕生。各地でのJCCA日系市民協会設立が全加日系市民協会の設立に結実した。財産損賠賠償問題とバード委員会の調査結果。

Part 7: Postwar Revival of the Nikkei Community

Nisei Democracy Committee and Cooperation Committee for Nikkei, a prominent postwar movement. Movement against government “repatriation” of Nikkei to Japan. The birth of the Issei Division of the Toronto Japanese Canadian Citizens Association. The establishment of JCCAs in various locations culminated in the formation of The National Japanese Canadian Citizens Association. The issue of compensation for property damage and the findings of the Bird Commission.
